This is a hidden gem. I was skeptical when I pulled up to meet my mother and her husband. The outside looks dated. However, when entering the establishment I was pleasantly surprised, and it was super clean and very cute. First off, the margherita pizza was incredible. Crispy thin crust and super cheesy with amazing sauce. We also ordered ravioli and it was also delicious. My mother had the eggplant parm which was so good. Will definitely come back. I am an hour away but this place is worth the drive. You won’t be disappointed !

The aroma alone will have you hooked before the first bite. The pizza is exceptional—crispy with charred crusts with just the right amount of chew. The menu also offers several delicious pasta dishes too. The service staff is very warm and welcoming. Whether this is your first visit or you are regular the staff treats you like family. El Tamarindo offers more than just a meal—it’s a place where excellent food and exceptional hospitality come together. If you’re anywhere near Hallandale, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Simply the best pizza I have had in a long time!!! I went with my wife to this place that was recommended by a friend. First they welcomed us with a stunning Italian bread with garlic. I ordered the tamarindo salad, the wings, meat lovers pizza, Italian beer and tamarindo juice. Every dish was so fresh, tasty and coal fired cooked. We had coconut flan and limoncello cake with cappuccino for desert. We are so grateful with the chef for a superb meal. The service was so gracious and we had the opportunity to meet the owner. Everyone treated us like family. The place was clean and with a great Italian ambiance. Congratulations. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.
